When it comes to the topic of pregnancy and childbirth, our society has a lot of preconceived ideas as to what is considered acceptable and what isn’t and doesn’t encourage trusting your intuition.

I always enjoy talking with women on First Time Mum’s Chat who put society’s general expectations to the test and this week’s guest is no exception. When it comes to childbirth, mother of 9 Angie Taylor has done it all and knows all about trusting your intuition!

As you’ll hear from her during our interview she refers to herself as a Fairy GodMentor which was suggested by her clients. She is a midwife, birth insider, an international board certified lactation consultant, a birth doula, life coach and more!

Angie’s aim is to be there for families and help them navigate their way through all birthing options to create the best experience for their unique situation.

About Angie Taylor

Angie Taylor

Angie is a homeschooling mother of 9 with a vocal range of baritone to first soprano who is addicted to dark chocolate and pepperoni pizza. She has earned two degrees with highest honors in Natural Health; one as a Doctor of Natural Health. She is also a birth insider, lactation consultant, and Life Coach.

She inspires, encourages, educates, and supports her clients as they confidently navigate creating balance in 7 key areas of life while living in an increasingly unbalanced world. Angie starts with a proven 10-weekcoaching program that takes her clients through the steps of exploring each of the 7 key areas of life, which are fitness, finance, family, field (career), faith, friends, and fun.

Her clients also explore the 7 most common things that keep them stuck in life patterns they desire to change as well as the 7 most common things that propel them forward toward the life they dream about. Then, her clients discover for themselves the top 3improvements they’d like to see in each of the 7 key areas and list 3 action steps for each key area that will get them started on their personal improvement journey.

Understanding that overwhelm is the number one reason human beings remain stuck living patterns they desperately want to change, Angie encourages her clients to narrow their goals down to the single goal that will have the greatest positive impact on their life. This becomes the focus over the next 12-weeks of accountability coaching.

She has discovered that listening, trusting, and surrendering to intuition is the single most important thinghuman beings can do that will bring peace of mind to every choice and decision made. The trick isdiscovering how to differentiate intuition from fear, doubt, shame, guilt, and the human desire to nevermake a mistake. Angie shows her clients how to know with certainty that they are hearing, trusting, andsurrendering to their own intuition instead of the life patterns they’ve created to keep themselves safe.
